Arlistán “Le Gato” is one of my most loved projects. It was the last work I did in Mother Buenos Aires. What I’ve tried to do here was to move away from storytelling and explore something I call sensation telling. What is this? Trying to transmit a sensation instead of a story. And I think I really achieved that goal, since Arlistan has been using this same ad for the last 9 years, every year, and people love it and the new audiences that discover it, can’t believe that this was done in 2012. There are even memes and gifs done out of this tv spot that show that when you achieve to transmit a sensation, then you became timeless.
This are just some of the examples of the tweets that talk about this spot. It created a community of fans around it worldwide that celebrates it and even re create it by themselves.
