Arlistán “Le Gato” is one of my most cherished projects. It was the last piece I created at Mother Buenos Aires, and with it, I wanted to break away from traditional storytelling. Instead, I explored something I call “sensation telling”—the idea of evoking a feeling rather than narrating a story.
I truly believe we achieved that. The proof? Arlistán has aired the same ad every year for the past nine years—and audiences still love it. New viewers are often shocked to learn it was made in 2012. The spot has even sparked memes and GIFs, living on in internet culture.
Because when you manage to capture a sensation, you create something timeless.
This are just some of the examples of the tweets that talk about this spot. It created a community of fans around it worldwide that celebrates it and even re create it by themselves.
